Tentative Itinerary:
Day 1: Tues., Sept. 24 – The tour will depart from Barrie, Bayfield Mall behind Canadian Tire Store at 8:00a.m. & Tour Office at 8:30a.m. Overnight parking is available at our Tour Office. Today we travel to Trois Riviere for the first night stay on our Maritime tour at the Holiday Inn Express. Enjoy a fun evening tonight including dinner at Chez Dany’s, where you will have the opportunity to learn about the Maple Syrup Industry in Quebec. (D)
Day 2: Wed., Sept. 25 – After breakfast, we continue our journey travelling through Quebec and into New Brunswick for our overnight stay in Fredericton at the Holiday Inn Express. (B)
Day 3: Thurs., Sept. 26 – This morning we will visit Hopewell Rocks where you may have an opportunity to walk on the ocean floor if the tide is low. See where the world’s highest tides have gouged four-story sculptures from the cliffs. Today’s journey takes us to Moncton for a 1-night stay at the Fairfield Inn. (B & L)
Day 4: Fri., Sept. 27 – Following breakfast we will depart for Springhill, Nova Scotia to visit the Anne Murray Centre. In the afternoon we will arrive in Halifax and begin our visit with a guided city tour.
We will check into the beautiful Westin Nova Scotian Hotel for our 3-night stay. (B & D)
Day 5: Sat., Sept. 28 – We will explore the South Shore with our Step-on Guide visiting the historic fishing towns of Lunenburg, Mahone Bay and Peggy’s Cove. Lunenburg was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1995 and is home to the Bluenose II. Our visit to this picturesque town will include a guided tour of the Fisheries Museum, with lunch at the Old Fish Factory restaurant. Our journey will continue travelling along the scenic shoreline to arrive at Peggy’s Cove and its famous lighthouse. Once we return to the hotel, the evening will be yours to explore on your own. Day 6: Sun., Sept. 29 – Halifax – Free Day. Today is yours to explore the city at leisure. Our location on the water and in the heart of the new and exciting Halifax Seaport District provides us a one-of-a kind East Coast experience. Downtown’s thriving epicenter is just steps away along the boardwalk, or Barrington Street, with a variety of shops, restaurants, and cafes. The Westin Nova Scotian is a 4 Diamond, 4.5 Star historic hotel. Enjoy your day. (B)
Day 7: Mon., Sept. 30 – Today our travels take us to Baddeck on Cape Breton Island. A visit to the Alexander Graham Bell Historic Site is planned for midafternoon before checking into the Inverary Resort located on Bras d’Or Lake for a 2-night stay. Following dinner, we will attend The Baddeck Gathering Ceilidh to enjoy Cape Breton Fiddle music, song & dance. (B & D)
Day 8: Tues., Oct. 1 – Free morning. Today you can explore this picturesque town. This afternoon we will be visiting the Glenora Distillery for a whiskey tasting then onto Mabou for dinner & entertainment at the Red Shoe Pub owned by the Rankin family. (B & D)
Day 9: Wed., Oct. 2 – Today we will explore the Cabot Trail, with many photo stops along the way – be sure to bring your camera. Known world-wide for its spectacular scenery, the Cabot Trail is circular and takes travelers along the rugged seacoast and through lofty mountains. We will have a picnic lunch at Pleasant Bay. And if the weather co-operates, we plan to enjoy the gondola ride at Cape Smokey taking in the fall foliage and breath-taking sights, where the mountains truly meet the sea. This evening, we will check into the Simon Hotel on the waterfront in Sydney for our 1 night stay. (B & L)
Day 10: Thurs. Oct. 3 – Today we depart Cape Breton across the Canso Causeway to continue our journey to Prince Edward Island. We will be taking the ferry crossing at Caribou, Nova Scotia to Woods Island, P.E.I. We will make our way to Summerside with its tree lined streets, heritage homes and historic murals before checking in to The Loyalist Country Inn for our 2-night stay. (B & D)
Day 11: Fri., Oct. 4 – Today we will explore the island in depth with our Step-on Guide. Highlights will include: Province House, historic Charlottetown, tour of Green Gables, the house immortalized by Lucy Maud Montgomery in her “Anne” books and spend time in Prince Edward Island National Park, renowned for its red sandstone cliffs, rolling sand dunes and lush green fields. Dinner will be served at Fisherman’s Wharf in North Rustico. (B & D)
Day 12: Sat., Oct. 5 – Today we will cross the Confederation Bridge, the longest of its kind in the world, at more than 12 kms. long. Our route will take us north through the towns of Maramichi, Newcastle, Bathurst and Campbellton to Edmundston, New Brunswick for our overnight stay. We will be staying at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel. (B & L)
Day 13: Sun., Oct. 6 – Today we will travel along the south shores of the St. Lawrence River to Montreal, our home for the final night of our tour. Our accommodation will be the Quality Inn Montreal East. A farewell dinner is included tonight at a local restaurant. (B & D)
Day 14: Mon., Oct. 7 – Following our group breakfast, we will make out way home with stops for coffee & meal breaks arriving in the early evening. (B)
Tour includes: motor coach transportation with Hamilton Tours Director, 13 nights’ accommodation, hotel taxes, baggage handling for 1 large suitcase each, 13 breakfasts, 4 lunches, 7 dinners, National Park pass, 1 Ferry Crossing, Pub Night Entertainment, attractions, museum visits and guided tours as listed in the itinerary & HST.

An initial deposit of $1000.00 is required at the time of booking.
The 2nd deposit of $1500.00 is due on June 6, with the balance due in full by August 6, 2024.
