Day 1: Wed., June 3 – The tour will depart from Orillia, Barrie, Bayfield Mall behind Canadian Tire Store & Tour Office for our shuttle to Pearson International Airport. A free round trip shuttle service is available with a minimum of 4 customers in the Collingwood, Wasaga Beach, Stayner area upon request and you will be transferred to meet the coach in Barrie. Overnight parking is available at our office. We will take an overnight flight across the Atlantic. Enjoy in-flight entertainment and meal service aboard Icelandic Air.

Day 2: Thurs., June 4 – After landing at Reykjavik-Keflavik Airport, we will meet our guide and board our coach. We begin with a sightseeing tour around Reykjavik, which is a city full of life and culture. Check into the Fosshotel Reykjavik for a 3 night stay.

Day 3: Fri., June 5 – Today, enjoy the scenic Golden Ring panoramic drive, which in its entirety is over 190 miles long. Some popular stops include Thingvellir National Park, the geysers at Haukadalur, Skalholt Cathedral and Gullfoss Waterfall. (B & D)

Day 4: Sat., June 6 – This morning, visit the Blue Lagoon, a unique geothermal spa situated in west Iceland. After your visit, you are free for individual pursuits and dining. (B)

Day 5: Sun., June 7 – This morning we will fly to Dublin, Ireland. Upon arrival we will be met by our driver/guide, who will welcome you to Ireland. Take an orientation drive around Dublin city center. Stop to visit Dublin Castle, which was the seat of power and government for many centuries. In the evening, join your fellow travelers for a get-together drink followed by dinner in the hotel restaurant. Overnight: Trinity City Hotel, Dublin. (B & D)

Day 6: Mon., June 8 – Today we travel north to Downpatrick and visit Down Cathedral, where you will see the reputed grave site of Saint Patrick. Next, visit the Saint Patrick Centre, which tells about his life & work. Then check into the Europa Hotel, Belfast for our 2 night stay. (B & D)

Day 7: Tues., June 9 – Today, visit Titanic Belfast to learn about the evolution of the Titanic from concept until her ill-fated end in 1912. Next, set off with a local guide on walking tour of Belfast. See the Albert Memorial, Opera House, Crown Liquor Saloon and many other buildings that are in the historic city center. You will have a free afternoon to explore. (B)

Day 8: Wed., June 10 – This morning we will depart Belfast and drive along the coast to experience one of Ireland’s popular scenic routes. Here, you’ll see the “Nine Glens of Antrim” which offer wonderful views of mountains, valleys and coastline. Continue on to visit the Giant’s Causeway, an impressive area of hexagonal columns formed over 60 million years ago by cooling lava. Then travel to Derry, where you will join a local guide for a walking tour. Afterwards, check into the City Hotel and settle into your room before dinner with your group. (B & D)

Day 9: Thurs., June 11 – Motor a short distance to visit Donegal Castle. Next, set off on a walking tour of Westport, one of the few planned towns in Ireland created by James Wyatt in 1780. Check into your nearby hotel for dinner and your overnight stay at Hotel Westport.(B & D)

Day 10: Fri., June 12 – After breakfast, drive a short distance to view the conical mountain of Croagh Patrick. Then we will visit a local farm, where you will get the opportunity to meet an Irish farmer and to see some sheepdogs work in their
natural environment. Enjoy dinner at the Westport House before spending the balance of the evening at leisure. (B & D)

Day 11: Sat., June 13 – The morning is free to sightsee and shop in Galway. In the afternoon, drive along the coast of scenic County Clare to visit the Cliffs of Moher, one of Ireland’s most beloved, natural landmarks. This evening, join in the fun and feasting at Bunratty or Knappogue Castle. Overnight stay: Bunratty Castle Hotel. (B & D)

Day 12: Sun., June 14 – Discover the beauties of the Dingle Peninsula, once described by the National Geographic Traveler as “the most beautiful place on earth.” Continue on to Slea Head at the western tip of the peninsula. Then travel to Killarney Avenue Hotel in Killarney and check in for our 2 night stay. (B & D)

Day 13: Mon., June 15 – Today, take a horse-drawn jaunting car ride through the grounds of the Killarney National Park. Next, explore the Ring of Kerry, which consists of over a 100 miles of marvelous scenery. Have lunch at a local venue before returning to Killarney for a free evening. (B)

Day 14: Tues., June 16 – Depart Killarney and journey into County Tipperary for photos of the Rock of Cashel. These majestic church ruins are clustered high on a limestone outcrop overlooking the surrounding countryside. Then travel to the lively city of Dublin and check into your hotel. Once you settle into your room, the remainder of the day is at leisure to use your “ Hop on Hop Off” pass. Also, using your vouchers you may either visit the Guinness Storehouse or the General Post Office. Returning to: Trinity City Hotel in Dublin for a 2 night stay. (B)

Day 15: Wed., June 17 – Use the second day of your “Hop On Hop Off” pass to pursue more of Dublin at your own pace. You could also take a stroll through Phoenix Park, the largest walled park in Europe. (B)

Day 16: Thurs., June 18 – This morning we will transfer to Dublin Airport to check in for our flight home. You may do some last minute shopping at the duty free stores before boarding your aircraft and flying back to Canada. Our Hammond Coach will be at Pearson International Airport to pick us up and return us to our original departure points. (B)

Tour includes: transfer to Pearson International Airport in Toronto by motor coach, 3 flight segments (to Iceland, to Ireland, to Canada), air taxes, motor coach transportation with Hamilton Tours Director, 14 nights’ accommodation, hotel taxes, baggage handling for 1 large suitcase each,   14 breakfasts, 8 dinners, attractions, museum visits and guided tours as listed in the itinerary & HST EXEMPT. An initial deposit of $1000.00 is required upon booking.

A 2nd deposit of $2500.00 is due on February 1, 2020 with the balance due in full by May 10, 2020.

A valid Canadian Passport is required for this tour with a 6 month validity past the return date of this tour.
