Tentative Itinerary:

Day 1: Sun., July 12 – The tour departs from Barrie, Bayfield Mall behind Canadian Tire Store at 8:00a.m. & Tour Office at 8:30a.m.. Overnight parking is available at our Tour Office. A Canadian Passport will be required for the border crossing into the USA. Today we travel to Cleveland, Ohio. Adorned in classic red brick with gothic architecture the Glidden House is a rich with history. Built in 1910 by the illustrious Glidden Family, this is our home for the next three nights. This evening, we enjoy a welcome dinner at Nighttown, a dining and music mecca for over 50 years (D)

Day 2: Mon., July 13 – After breakfast, we enjoy a Cleveland city tour with a local step on guide.  This afternoon we board the Nautica Queen for an adventure that combines the best of dining and sightseeing. Experience the city in a unique way as you cruise under historic bridges and take in sights of Lake Erie and the Cuyahoga River. Visit “A Christmas Story” and Ralphie’s actual house used in the film – completely restored to its movie splendor A group dinner has been arranged at a local restaurant this evening. (B, L & D)

Day 3: Tues., July 14 – Todays activities include a visit the Cleveland Museum of Art, lunch at the Music Box Supper Club, and an afternoon visit to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. This museum documents the history of rock music and the artists, producers, engineers, and other notable figures who have influenced its development. Memorabilia from several genres of music including Blues, Gospel, R&B, Country, Bluegrass, Folk, Fifties, Soul, and Heavy Metal can be found here. (B & L)

Day 4: Wed., July 15 – This morning we explore the West Side public market. Dating back to 1840 the West Side Market is Cleveland’s oldest publicly owned market. It is an interesting and historical Cleveland tradition. There will be time for shopping and an early lunch before departing for home. We will make a stop at the duty free before entering Canada. Our return time to Barrie is approximately 8:00p.m. (B)
