Terms & Conditions

RATES: Tour rates are calculated according to transportation fares and
accommodation rates in effect as of March 2024. Although efforts are made to maintain the tour rates as published, Hamilton Tours Ltd. reserves the right to adjust prices at any time should this become necessary.

DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS: Overnight Tours require a set deposit that is listed in the itinerary within 14 days of booking. If the deposit is not received within this time period, reservations may be cancelled. The balance of payment due date is also listed with the itinerary therefore guaranteeing the confirmed rate. When reservations are received less than 45 days prior to departure, full payment is required immediately.

FORMS OF PAYMENT: Payments can be made by e-transfer to info@hamiltontoursltd.com or by cheque. In both cases please put the date & name of the tour in the Memo portion. Cheques must be made payable to Hamilton Tours Ltd. We also accept cash, debit, Visa and Mastercard. A service charge of 2% will be added to all credit card purchases. TAX: H.S.T. charges, if any, that apply to the cost of your tour are included in the price. Prices are all in Canadian dollars.

DAY TOURS are non-refundable once paid in full. Name changes are permitted if you should give your ticket to someone else.  If you need to cancel, we will attempt to resell your ticket but a $25. charge will be deducted from your refund cheque if we are able to successfully resell your seat on the coach.

TRAVEL INSURANCE: Hamilton Tours Ltd. strongly recommends the purchase of insurance for overnight tours. Our office offers travel insurance for tour and individual travel. Insurance is quoted on an individual basis and should be arranged and paid for at the time of booking.  If insurance is declined, a waiver must be signed and returned to our office prior to departure. All tour itineraries are subject to change or cancellation without prior notice. Hamilton Tours Ltd. shall have no responsibilities beyond their refund of all monies paid by the passenger, which is deemed to constitute full settlement.

DOCUMENTATION REQUIREMENTS: Canadian Citizens are required to present a valid passport when travelling outside of Canada. We require that you provide us with your Passport number & expiration date, your name as it appears on your passport and your birthdate for all international tours. Please note that entry into another country may be refused even if the required information and travel documents are complete. Living standards and practices at your destination may differ from those found in Canada.

PRICE INCREASES: This contract permits price increases. No price increases are permitted after the customer has paid in full. If the price increase is more that 7% (except resulting from an increase in retail sales tax or federal Good and Services Tax or Harmonized Sales Tax), the customer has the right to cancel the contract and obtain a full refund.

THE TOUR DIRECTOR reserves the right to decline any person as a member of the tour at any time before or during the tour should such a person’s presence be considered detrimental to the interest, comfort and enjoyment of the other tour members. Persons leaving the tour during operation will not receive a refund of unused services. Persons Requiring special assistance with personal care must be accompanied by a caregiver.

 Terms and Conditions regarding our Cancellation Policy:
Day Trips are non-refundable

Overnight Tours involving Airline Tickets and/or Cruise portion:
For cancellation between 120 days and booking date - the initial deposit is non-refundable
For cancellation between 76 days to 119 days - 50% of the tour cost
For cancellation between day of departure to 75 days - 100% of the tour cost

Overnight Coach Tours
For cancellation between 121 days and booking date - 25% of the tour cost
For cancellation between 120 days to 91 days - 50% of the tour cost
For cancellation between 60 days to 90 days - 75% of the tour cost
For cancellation between day of departure to 59 days – 100% of the tour cost

Cancellation protection insurance is highly recommended and must be purchased at the time of deposit
