The mission of The Donkey Sanctuary of Canada is to provide a lifelong home to donkeys, mules and hinnies who are unwanted, neglected or abused, or whose
owners can no longer care for them; and to promote the responsible stewardship of all animals through humane education. The Waterloo Central Railway is a recreational
passenger train that runs on a historic railway branch between the St. Jacobs Market, the Village of St. Jacobs, and the town of Elmira. It is operated by the Southern Ontario Locomotive Restoration Society, a non-profit charitable organization made up of volunteers dedicated to the preservation, restoration, and operation of vintage railway equipment.
