Tentative Itinerary:
Day 1: Tues., Sept. 8 – The tour will depart Barrie, Bayfield Mall behind the Canadian Tire Store at 7:30a.m. & the Tour Office at 8:00a.m. A free round trip shuttle service is available with a minimum of 4 customers in the Collingwood, Wasaga Beach, Stayner area upon request and you will be transferred to meet the coach in Barrie. Overnight parking is available at our office. Remember to bring your Canadian Passport for the border crossing. We will overnight in Stroudsburg, PA. at the Mount Airy Casino and Resort. (D)
Day 2: Wed., Sept. 9 – New York, NY – This morning, we travel through the Lincoln Tunnel to New York City and meet our local guide for a unique tour of Harlem including a visit to the historic Apollo Theatre. Enjoy lunch at Sylvia’s Soul Food which has been in operation since 1962. Our home for the next 3 nights is the Cambria Suites located in Times Square and within walking distance of many attractions. Dinner this evening at Carmines Restaurant located in the heart of the Theatre District. (B, L & D)
Day 3: Thurs., Sept. 10 – Today we discover Manhattan from Battery Park to Columbus Circle with a full day of touring with our local guide. Our visits include the Empire State Building Central Park, the World Trade Centre 911 Memorial and a one hour cruise around the Harbour to learn about the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. This evening enjoy a pre-theatre dinner, followed by an evening Broadway performance. We will confirm which play we will be once we have received confirmation of availability. (B & D)
Day 4: Fri., Sept. 11– This morning we embark on a Midtown and Downtown Tasting and Sightseeing program with our guide. This is a unique way to see and experience Little Italy, Hell’s Kitchen, Greenwich and the Lower East Side. Throughout the tour we will sample a variety of ethnic treats both on and off the coach. This afternoon there will be free time to explore the city on your own. We return to the hotel in time to get ready for dinner on board the beautiful Hornblower Yacht which gives us an opportunity to view the skyline from the water. (B, L & D)
Day 5: Sat., Sept. 12 – On our last morning in Manhattan, we visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art for a guided tour and free time prior to starting our journey starting our journey home with an overnight stay in Albany, New York at the Century House Hotel. (B & D)
Day 6: Sun., Sept. 13 – Homeward Bound – A comfortable drive today returns us to Canada! We will stop enroute at the duty free shop. Our return time to Barrie is approximately 8:00p.m. (B)
Tour includes: motor coach transportation with Hamilton Tours Director, 5 nights’ accommodation, hotel taxes, baggage handling, admissions as listed in itinerary, 12 meals, 1 theatre performance, shuttle to local shopping & HST EXEMPT.
A deposit of $800.00 is required at the time of booking, with the balance due by July 30, 2020.
