Join us as we explore two great destinations in one great tour. With over 60 miles of beautiful coastline, Myrtle Beach and the Grand Strand offers stunning sunrises, entertainment and southern hospitality. The Outer Banks of North Carolina and its wide-open shoreline offers a mix of charming seaside villages and an intriguing history. 

Tentative Itinerary: 

Day 1: Wed., Mar. 30 – The tour will depart from Barrie, Bayfield Mall behind the Canadian Tire Store at 7:30a.m. & the Tour Office at 8:00a.m. Overnight parking is available at our Tour Office. Remember to bring with your Valid Canadian Passport for the border crossing into the USA. Please keep this document with you and be prepared to present it at the border. Our overnight stay is in Bridgeport, West Virginia. 

Day 2: Thurs., Mar. 31 – Following a light breakfast we will travel to Charlotte, North Carolina for an overnight stay. (B)

Day 3: Fri., Apr. 1 – Following a light breakfast we will depart for Myrtle Beach. Our home for the next 7 nights is the Beach Cove Resort which features deluxe ocean front efficiency rooms (Jr. Suites) with private balconies overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The hotel offers both indoor & outdoor pool, onsite restaurant, whirlpool, laundry facilities, sauna & private beach. After our check-in at the Resort, the coach will provide a shuttle to the local grocery store to purchase supplies. We will have a group dinner at the resort this evening. (B & D) 

Day 4: Sat., Apr. 2 – There will be an optional Outlet shopping in the afternoon. Tonight, we will enjoy a group dinner at Benjamins and attend an evening performance of the Legends in Concert. (B & D) 

Day 5: Sun., Apr. 3 – Today is a free day to enjoy the amenities of the Resort. (B) 

Day 6: Mon., Apr. 4 – We will offer a day trip to Charleston today including a guided tour. (B) 

Day 7: Tues., Apr. 5 – This morning we will visit Barefoot Landing and board the Barefoot Queen for a lunchtime cruise on the Intercoastal Waterway. (B & L) 

Day 8: Wed., Apr. 6 – Our day starts with a visit to Brookgreen Sculpture gardens and Wildlife Preserve located in Murrells Inlet. Enjoy dinner at Chucks Steakhouse followed by our annual mini-putt excursion. No experience required. (B & D) 

Day 9: Thurs. Apr. 7 – Enjoy your last day at the beach. Tonight, we will dine at the Chesapeake House and then attend the Alabama Theatre performance of “One”. This show is ranked #1 in Myrtle Beach. (B & D) 

Day 10: Fri., Apr. 8 – Today we depart the hotel after breakfast, and travel to the Outer Banks, North Carolina and check in to the Comfort Inn, South Nags Head. Enjoy dinner this evening at Sugarcreek Restaurant. (B & D) 

Day 11: Sat., Apr. 9 – This morning after breakfast, we will visit the Wright Brothers Museum and Memorial. They taught the world to fly. Sand, wind and a dream of flight brought Orville and Wilbur Wright to Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. This afternoon, there is free time to explore the Manteo Waterfront Village on Roanoke Island and the quaint little shops that line the boardwalk. We will tour the replica sailing ship, Elizabeth II, visit the settlement, and learn about the Lost Colony. Dinner this evening is at Captain George’s Seafood Restaurant. (B & D) 

Day 12: Sun., Apr. 10 – This morning we depart for Cape Hatteras National Seashore, with a stop by Bodie Island Lighthouse for photos, then head to Cape Hatteras Light, the tallest in the U.S. Board the ferry and travel to Ocracoke Island. We will stop to visit the most popular locals on Ocracoke Island, the Wild Ponies. They are descendants of the horses brought over in the 1500’s by Spanish explorers and are protected and preserved by the National Park Service. A box lunch will be provided today. On our return to Hatteras, we finish our day off with dinner at the Lone Cedar. (B, L & D) 

Day 13: Mon., Apr. 11 – This morning we travel to Norfolk with a stop at the Morris Farm Market and a visit the Nauticus Naval Museum. This maritime museum celebrates the economic, naval and natural power of the sea. Next, we will board the Victory Rover for a two-hour cruise which includes fascinating commentary about one of the world’s busiest seaports and home to the Atlantic Fleet. See destroyers, submarines, aircraft carriers, and more. Our travel to Richmond, Virginia and stay at the Drury Inn. (B) 

Day 14: Tues., Apr. 12 – Today we continue our journey towards home with an overnight stay in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. (B) 

Day 15: Wed., Apr. 13 – Following breakfast we will depart for home, stopping at the duty free before entering Canada. We will return to Barrie at approximately 9:00p.m. (B) 

Tour includes: motor coach transportation with tour director, 14 nights hotel accommodation, baggage handling for 1 large suitcase each, hotel taxes, 14 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 7 evening dinners, miniature golf tournament, admissions as listed in the itinerary, and shuttle to local shopping, duty free shopping & HST EXEMPT.
