Day 1: Mon., Dec. 4 – The tour will depart from Orillia at 7:00a.m., Barrie, Bayfield Mall behind Canadian Tire Store at 7:30a.m. & the Tour Office at 8:00a.m. (Overnight parking is available at our office) Remember to bring your Canadian Passport for the border crossing into the USA. We will travel to Lewisburg, Penn and stay overnight at the Best Western Country Cupboard Inn.
Day 2: Tues., Dec. 5 – Following breakfast we will depart for Lancaster County. Our first stop will be at Shady Maple Smorgasbord & Gift Shop. This afternoon we will attend the production of “The First Noel” at the American Music Theatre. Our evening dinner will be served at Greenfield Inn. Built in 1780, this wonderfully restored and well-maintained Pennsylvania stone farmhouse has a tradition of warmth and friendship while creating foods made especially for you. This evening we will check into The Eden Resort & Suites, our home for the next 2 nights. The hotel has 2 restaurants, a cocktail lounge on premises, plus a large indoor heated pool with whirlpool spa. (B, L & D)
Day 3: Wed., Dec. 6 – Today with our local guide we will explore the Amish Farmlands including a stop at an Amish Quilt & Craft Store. There will be free time to stroll the 42 shops & Restaurants in Kitchen Kettle Village in the town of Intercourse. A visit to the area would not be complete without attending a performance at the spectacular Sight & Sound Millennium Theatre. This afternoon we will enjoy the production of “The Miracle of Christmas”. We have excellent orchestra level seats for the 2:00p.m. show. See the Christmas story brought to life with high drama, special effects, and live animals. Rejoice as the true meaning of Christmas unfolds right before your eyes! Dinner will be served at Millers Smorgasbord offering a family-owned tradition of good food and exceptional service since 1929. (B & D)
Day 4: Thurs., Dec. 7 – Following breakfast, we are off to the “sweetest place on earth” the town of Hershey. We will visit Hershey Chocolate World and enjoy a simulated factory tour ride that takes you from the harvesting of cocoa beans to the production of Hershey’s chocolate. Enjoy your free sample at the end of the ride. Lunch will be on your own in the Food Court. We will depart for Corning, New York for our overnight stay. (B)
Day 5: Fri., Dec. 8 – Following a late breakfast we will visit The Corning Museum of Glass. It will be a self-guided tour with lunch on our own. We will depart for home at 1:00p.m. We will stop for coffee & meal breaks and duty-free shopping as we make our way back to Canada. (B)
Tour includes: motor coach transportation with Hamilton Tours Director, 4 nights hotel & taxes, baggage handling, 2 music theatre performance, 7 meals, guided tour, admissions as listed in the itinerary & HST EXEMPT.
