Agawa Canyon Train

Experience Northern Ontario including Manitoulin Island and the Agawa Train Tour.

Tentative Itinerary:

Day 1:  Wed., Oct. 2 – The tour will depart from the Tour Office at 7:00a.m. and Barrie, Bayfield Mall behind Canadian Tire Store at 7:30 a.m.  Overnight parking is available at the Tour Office.  Today we travel to Tobermory where we will board the Chi-Cheemaun ferry and cross the main channel between Georgian Bay and Lake Huron, to Manitoulin Island.  Upon arrival we will check in to the Manitoulin Hotel & Conference Centre.  In the evening, we will enjoy a Traditional Dinner Feast and experience the Spirit of a Native Storyteller through drums and song. Day 2: Thurs., Oct. 3 – This morning, we are joined by a local guide for a tour of the Island before departing for Sault Ste. Marie.  Upon arrival, we will check in to the Quality Inn for a 2-night stay. This evening, we will enjoy a group dinner.  (B & D)

Day 3: Fri., Oct. 4 – Following breakfast we will make our way to the station to board the Agawa Canyon Train.  This is a full-day excursion that takes us on a journey 114 miles north of Sault Ste. Marie and includes a stop in the Canyon.  This evening after our return, there will be time for an optional visit to the Gateway Casino located within walking distance of our hotel. (B & L)

Day 4:  Sat., Oct. 5 – This morning we will start our journey home via Sudbury, stopping for lunch along the way.  Return to Barrie at approximately 7:00p.m. and the Tour office at 7:30p.m.  (B & L)

Tour includes: motor coach transportation with Hamilton Tours Director, 3 nights hotel & taxes, baggage handling, admissions as outlined in the itinerary, Agawa Canyon Train trip, 7 meals & HST

Cost per person:  Twin $1635.00 & Single $1935.00

A deposit of $600.00 is required at the time of booking, with the balance due by August 21, 2024

Travel insurance is available through our office at time of booking for an additional charge.
