Escape Winter with this unique tour that combines elements of Land and Sea as we travel to New Orleans and enjoy a Caribbean Cruise aboard Norwegian’s Breakaway

Tentative Itinerary:

Day 1: Tues., Feb. 23 – The tour will depart from Orillia, Square Mall at 7:30a.m., Barrie, Bayfield Mall at 8:00a.m. and Tour Office at 8:30a.m..  Overnight parking is available at our Tour Office.  A free shuttle van service is available with a minimum of 4 customers from the Collingwood, Stayner & Wasaga Beach area upon request and transferred to meet the coach in Barrie. Remember to bring your Canadian Passport for the border crossing.  We will cross at Port Huron and have lunch at the Cracker Barrel. Today we travel to Dayton, Ohio for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Wed., Feb. 24 -Today we travel to Nashville, Tennessee.  Enjoy an afternoon guided tour and then check in to our downtown hotel.  A group dinner has been arranged for this evening. (B & D)

Day 3: Thurs., Feb. 25 – This morning we visit the Country Music Hall of Fame. We will enjoy a group lunch at a local restaurant prior to departing for Birmingham, Alabama. (B & L)

Day 4: Fri., Feb. 26 – Today we arrive in New Orleans for an exciting 2-night stay.  After checking in to our hotel, we will enjoy a group dinner at a local restaurant.  (B & D)

Day 5: Sat., Feb. 27 – Today is a full day of touring with a local guide including a visit to Mardi Gras World – the largest float design and building facility in the world, the French Quarter and learn about the history of this vibrant city.  (B & D)

Day 6 to 12: Sun., Feb. 28 to Sat., March 6 – This morning enjoy breakfast at our hotel and then the morning is at your leisure.   You could do some sightseeing on your own prior to boarding the ship for a relaxing week long cruise to the Western Caribbean. Get ready to be transported to a world of tropical beauty as you cruise south for the winter. Set sail from the birthplace of jazz to Harvest Caye in Southern Belize, The Caribbean’s premier island destination. Here you can enjoy an exclusive 7-acre beach and exciting shore excursions ranging from zip lining across the island to snorkelling the world’s second largest barrier reef. In Honduras, Roatán is a peaceful, eco-tourist’s dream. Experience the unique sights and turquoise waters of Tabyana Beach & interact with monkeys and macaws at Gumbalimba Park. Consider one of Norwegian’s organized shore excursions and enjoy a wonderful experience discovering these beautiful ports. The Norwegian Breakaway features every type of dining option you could want and it offers a variety of activities and entertainment. There is Broadway-style entertainment, boutique shopping and an oceanfront promenade lined with restaurants, bars, and spectacular views. (B)

Day 13: Sun., March 7– We will arrive in port at 7:00am.  Following breakfast and departure from the ship we will be transferred to the Louis Armstrong New Orleans Airport for our afternoon flight to Pearson International Airport in Toronto.  Our Hammond coach will meet us and return us to the Tour Office and Barrie. (Shuttle van service as prearranged on Day 1)

Complete 13 day tour includes:  motor coach transportation to New Orleans and return flight from New Orleans including baggage fee for 1 large suitcase per person, Hamilton Tours Director, 5 nights hotel accommodation, baggage handling, 12 breakfasts, 7 lunches, 10 dinners, attractions and guided tours as listed in the itinerary, Norwegian Breakaway 7-night Caribbean cruise, port charges & taxes of $213.57 per person & HST EXEMPT.

Not included in pricing: optional side trips while in port & onboard ship gratuities.

Travel Insurance is available through our office at the time of booking at an additional charge. 

A Valid Canadian Passport is required for this tour.  You will be required to provide a photo copy of your passport at the time of booking.

An initial deposit of $1000.00 is required when pricing has been finalized by March 30, 2020.   

A second deposit of $1000.00 is due on August 1, 2020

The balance is due in full by October 1, 2020
