Friday, September 9 to Friday, September 16, 2016 - “All Roads Lead to Quilting 2016”
Missouri Star Quilt Company Tour in Hamilton, Missouri
Tentative Itinerary:
Day 1: Fri., Sept. 9 - The tour will depart from Barrie, Bayfield Mall behind Canadian Tire at 7:30a.m. & the Tour Office at 8:00a.m. & Newmarket at 8:30a.m. (Overnight parking is available at the Tour Office).
Remember to bring with you your Valid Canadian Passport for the border crossing into the USA. Please keep this document with you and be prepared to present it at the border. 
We will have lunch at the “Cracker Barrel” in Port Huron.  Today is a travel day to Lima, Ohio.  (L)
Day 2: Sat., Sept. 10 - Following breakfast at the hotel we will visit a Quilt Store enroute to St. Louis, Missouri.  (B)
Day 3:  Sun., Sept. 11 - A group breakfast will be served at the hotel before meeting our step on guide for a unique look at this beautiful, historical city.  This afternoon we will travel to Hamilton, Missouri home of the Missouri Quilt Star Company. We will check into our hotel for a 2 night stay.  (B & D)
Day 4:  Mon., Sept. 12 - A group breakfast will be served at the hotel.  Today’s Highlight’s include:  a Trunk Show and Lecture by Jenny Doan, owner of the Missouri Star Quilt Company, visit the J.C.Penney Memorial Library and Museum and free time for shopping.    A special evening dinner will conclude our day. Day 5:  Tues., Sept. 13 - This morning following breakfast we will travel to Moline, Illinois for our overnight stay.    Today we will include 2 Quilt shops enroute. (B)
Day 6:  Wed., Sept. 14 - This morning following breakfast we will travel to Shipshewana for our 2 night stay in the heart of Northern Indiana’s Amish Country.  This afternoon we will visit the Shipshewana Flea Market – home of the Midwest’s Largest Flea Market and one fabric shop. (B & D)
Day 7:  Thurs., Sept. 15 - Today will be a great day in Shipshewana.  Highlights include: have a guided tour of the Shipshewana Quilt Gardens & surrounding area in LaGrange County, Yoder’s Shopping Centre which boasts 10,000 bolts of fabric, Davis Mercantile which includes Lolly’s Fabrics with approx. 15,000 bolts, books and supplies plus 22 other shops and features a 100 year old Denzel Carousel. This balance of the day is at your leisure to explore the many unique shops in town. An evening dinner at the Blue Gate Restaurant and Bakery will complete our day. (B & D)
Day 8:  Fri., Sept. 16 - Today we depart for home following breakfast.  We will stop for duty free shopping & meal breaks enroute home.  Return to Bradford at approximately 9:00p.m & Barrie at 9:30p.m. (B)

Tour includes: motor coach transportation with Hamilton Tours Director, 7 nights hotel & taxes, baggage handling, 7 breakfasts, 1 lunch, 4 evening dinners, admission to the
J.C. Penney Museum, Trunk Show & Lecture with Jenny Doan, guided tour of the Shipshewana Quilt Gardens & area, guided tour of St. Louis, shopping, duty free shopping & HST EXEMPT. 
Cost per person: Twin $1669.00   & Single $2269.00    
A deposit of $500.00 is required at the time of booking, with the balance due in full by August 1, 2016

Travel Insurance is available through our office at the time of booking at an additional charge.

 
 


PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP:

A Valid Canadian Passport
- the best form of Identification

As of June 1, 2009, a Valid Canadian passport is required for those travelling to the United States by land, air or cruise ship.

Canadian Residents Holding non-Canadian Passports: Upon entry into the USA by land, you must fill out Form I-94, and pay $6 US per person. Upon your return to Canada, the form must be presented to the customs office as proof that you have left the USA.

Hamilton Tours staff advise passengers of their travel document requirements, but we will not be responsible for passengers denied access to the US, or for re-entry into Canada. If this happens, you will be responsible for your own transportation home.

To facilitate border crossing, please keep your identification on your person.
