Tentative Itinerary:

Day 1: Mon., June 11 - The tour will depart from Barrie, Bayfield Mall behind Canadian Tire Store at 7:30a.m. & Tour Office at 8:00a.m.  (Overnight parking is available at our office) A shuttle van will be picking up customers in Collingwood, Wasaga Beach & Elmvale (with a minimum of 6 passengers) upon request and transferred to meet the coach in Barrie.   Remember to bring your Canadian Passport for the border crossing into the USA. We will travel to Lewisburg, Penn and stay overnight at the Best Western Country Cupboard Inn.  This evening we will have a group buffet dinner and free time for browsing in the shops. (D)

Day 2: Tues., June 12 - Following breakfast we will depart for Lancaster County.  Our first stop will be at the Rockvale Shopping Outlets for lunch and free time for shopping.  Restaurant choices include Subway, Bob Evans, Ruby Tuesday, Olive Garden & Cracker Barrel.  This afternoon we will check into our hotel, The Eden Resort & Suites.  The Eden Resort is located at 222 Eden Road, Lancaster, PA. There are two restaurants and a cocktail lounge on the premises, three pools, including large indoor heated pool with whirlpool spa. There are coffee makers and refrigerators in all the rooms.

This afternoon our local guide will meet us at our hotel.  We will depart for Elva’s Studio where we will enjoy a presentation reviving the old art of chalk talk. This is a fun, motivational and inspiring event you’ll never forget, complete with colored lights and ultra violet black light show which creates beautiful effects on the artwork. You have to see it to believe it! Prepare for a unique and truly memorable experience as you are welcomed into a real Amish home as their guests for an authentic Amish meal. Enjoy their kind and gracious hospitality as the family serves you a delicious Penn Dutch feast. A typical meal will include two meat entrees, mashed potatoes, buttered noodles, vegetables, assorted cold relishes, homemade bread, beverage, and desserts. (B & D)

Day 3: Wed., June 13 - Today with our local guide we will explore the Amish Farmlands including a stop at an Amish Quilt & Craft Store.  Enjoy picturesque scenery as you meander across country roads where time seems to stand still. See the pristine Amish farms, one-room schoolhouses, Amish “phone booths” and farmers working the fields with their horse or mule-drawn plows.  There will be free time to stroll the 42 shops & Restaurants in Kitchen Kettle Village in the town of Intercourse over the noon hour.

A visit to the area would not be complete without attending a performance at the spectacular Sight & Sound Millennium Theatre.  This afternoon we will enjoy the production of “Jesus”.  We have excellent orchestra level seats for the 3:00p.m. show.  “Jesus” is the action packed musical stage adventure that takes you on a miraculous journey alongside the most famous person to ever walk the earth, and the everyday people whose lives he changed forever.

Dinner will be served at Millers Smorgasbord, a family-owned tradition of good food and exceptional service since 1929. Today, their traditional smorgasbord features mouth-watering American favorites as well as their own distinctive Lancaster County heritage dishes and bakery-fresh desserts (B & D)

Day 4: Thurs., June 14 - Following breakfast we will depart for home. We will stop for coffee & meal breaks and duty free shopping as we make our way back to Canada.  Return to the Tour Office at approximately 8:30p.m. & Barrie at 9:00p.m. (B)
