Friday, March 16 to Tuesday, March 27, 2018 - Myrtle Beach, South Carolina Winter Vacation

Tentative Itinerary:

Day 1: Fri., March 16 - The tour will depart from Barrie, Bayfield Mall behind the Canadian Tire at 6:30a.m. & the Tour Office at 7:00a.m.  (Overnight parking is available at both locations) A shuttle van service is available with a minimum of 6 customers in Collingwood, Wasaga Beach & Elmvale upon request and transferred to meet the coach in Barrie.  A valid Canadian passport is required for the border crossing into the USA.  A stop will be made at duty free enroute to our overnight stay in Bridgeport, West Virginia at the Hampton Inn.
Day 2:
Sat., March 17 - Following a light breakfast we will travel to Charlotte, North Carolina and for an overnight stay at the Drury Inn. (B)
Day 3: Sun.,
March 18 - This morning we travel to Myrtle Beach.  The tour will be staying at the “Beach Cove Resort” for 7 nights in oceanfront executive suites with private balconies.  The hotel offers both indoor & outdoor pool, whirlpool, laundry facilities, sauna & private beach. After our 3:00p.m. check-in at the Resort, the coach will take our group to the local grocery store to purchase supplies. (B)
Day 4: Mon., Mar
ch 19 - Today is a free day to enjoy the resort or a round of golf at one of the many local courses. This evening enjoy dinner at Chestnut Hill followed by the 7:00p.m. performance of Carolina Opry. (B & D)
Day 5: Tues., Mar
ch 20 - Today enjoy a visit to Historic Charleston, South Carolina including a guided tour. Charleston is famous for its beautiful gardens, stately homes and wonderful restaurants.  (B)

Day 6: Wed., March 21 -Today we visit to Brookgreen Gardens, listed as one of the top ten Gardens in the United States.  Dinner this evening is at Benjamin's  Restaurant. (B & D)
Day 7: Thurs., Mar
ch 22 - Today is a free day to enjoy at the Resort. (B)
Day 8: Fri., Mar
ch 23 - This afternoon we enjoy a boat tour on the Calabash Fishing Fleet followed by dinner at the  Chesapeake House. (B & D)
Day 9: Sat., Mar
ch 24 - Today is free to spend at the Resort. Tonight we attend the Alabama Theatre and enjoy dinner at Thoroughbreds. (B & D)
Day 10: Sun., Mar
ch 25 - Today we start our journey home with an overnight stay at the Hampton Inn, Fredericksburg, Virginia. (B)
Day 11: Mon.,
March 26 -Today we travel to Best Western Country Cupboard, Lewisburg, PA for an overnight stay. (B & D)

Day 12: Tues., March 27 – Following breakfast, we depart for home stopping at the Duty Free prior to returning to Canada. (B)

Tour includes: motor coach transportation with tour director, 11 nights hotel accommodation, baggage handling for 1 large suitcase each, hotel taxes, 11 breakfasts, 5 evening dinners, miniature golf tournament, a day trip to Charleston, South Carolina, attractions as listed in itinerary, and shuttle to local shopping, duty free shopping & HST EXEMPT.

Cost per person: Twin $2475.00 & Single $3300.00

Travel Insurance is available through our office at the time of booking at an additional charge.

 

 
 


PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP:

A Valid Canadian Passport
- the best form of Identification

As of June 1, 2009, a Valid Canadian passport is required for those travelling to the United States by land, air or cruise ship.

Canadian Residents Holding non-Canadian Passports: Upon entry into the USA by land, you must fill out Form I-94, and pay $6 US per person. Upon your return to Canada, the form must be presented to the customs office as proof that you have left the USA.

Hamilton Tours staff advise passengers of their travel document requirements, but we will not be responsible for passengers denied access to the US, or for re-entry into Canada. If this happens, you will be responsible for your own transportation home.

To facilitate border crossing, please keep your identification on your person.
