Friday, November 17 to Saturday, November 25, 2017 - Music Cities of Tennessee

 Memphis & Nashville

 

Tentative itinerary:

Day 1:  Fri., Nov. 17 - The tour will depart from Orillia at 7:00a.m., Barrie, Bayfield Mall behind Canadian Tire Store at 7:30a.m. & the Tour Office at 8:00a.m. (Overnight parking is available at the Tour Office).   Remember to bring with you your Valid Canadian Passport for the border crossing into the USA. Please keep this document with you and be prepared to present it at the border.  Our overnight stay is at the Drury Inn, Cincinnati, Ohio.

Day 2: Sat., Nov. 18 - Today we travel to Paducah, Kentucky for an overnight stay at the Drury Inn. (B)

Day 3: Sun., Nov. 19 - This morning after breakfast we depart the hotel and travel to Memphis. Enjoy a guided tour of Memphis prior to checking in to the brand new “Guest House at Graceland” located just steps away from Graceland Mansion. Tonight we will enjoy a group dinner. (B & D)

Day 4: Mon., Nov. 20 - Today we visit Graceland, with time to visit the Mansion, Elvis’ two airplanes, the newly expanded Automobile Museum, Elvis Discovery Exhibits and his gravesite.  This evening there is free time to explore Beale Street and enjoy a traditional southern cuisine dinner at a local restaurant. Day 5: Tues., Nov. 21 - This morning we will tour Sun Studios, the birthplace of Rock and Roll and the Million Dollar Quartet.   We continue our Musical Journey and travel to Nashville for a three- night stay.  We will check in to the spectacular Opryland Hotel and enjoy our luxury upgraded Garden Terrace rooms that overlook the decorated Atriums.  The Opryland Hotel features 9 acres of indoor gardens, lush waterfalls and waterways all decorated for the Christmas season.

This afternoon take time to explore the Atriums at your leisure and take a ride on the Delta Flatboats. This evening’s highlight is the Grand Ole Opry at the Ryman Auditorium. The Grand Ole Opry is the oldest continuously running radio program in the United States and features an array of Country legends, superstars and up and coming artists.   (B & D)

Day 6: Wed., Nov. 22 - Today enjoy a tour of Music City with a local guide, and a visit to the Country Music Hall of Fame. When you step into the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, you will be embarking on a trip through decades of country music history in this architecturally-stunning building. We will also visit the RCA Studios- Studio B which became famous in the 1960s for being a part of what many refer to as the Nashville Sound. Enjoy lunch at the Wild Horse Saloon which features Southern Smokehouse BBQ.  This evening we will enjoy the Opryland Live Holiday Production. (B & L)        

Day 7: Thurs., Nov. 23 - Today’s highlights include admission to ICE, a beautiful display of Ice sculptures, a lunch cruise on the General Jackson Showboat, an evening Country Christmas dinner and show featuring Diamond Rio.   (B, L & D)

Day 8: Fri., Nov. 24 - Today we start our journey home and travel to Sharonville, Ohio for our overnight stay. (B)    

Day 9: Sat., Nov. 25 - This morning we continue our journey home, stopping at the duty free in Port Huron, arriving in Barrie at approximately 8:30p.m. (B)   

 

Tour includes: motor coach transportation with Hamilton Tours Director, 8 nights hotel & taxes, baggage handling, 8 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 3 dinners, 1 dinner theatre, attractions, guided tours as listed in the itinerary, duty free shopping & HST EXEMPT. 

 

Cost per person: Twin $2825.00 & Single $3775.00  

A deposit of $700.00 is required at the time of booking, with the balance due in full by Oct. 1, 2017. 

Travel Insurance is available through our office at the time of booking at an additional charge. 

 

 
 


PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP:

A Valid Canadian Passport
- the best form of Identification

As of June 1, 2009, a Valid Canadian passport is required for those travelling to the United States by land, air or cruise ship.

Canadian Residents Holding non-Canadian Passports: Upon entry into the USA by land, you must fill out Form I-94, and pay $6 US per person. Upon your return to Canada, the form must be presented to the customs office as proof that you have left the USA.

Hamilton Tours staff advise passengers of their travel document requirements, but we will not be responsible for passengers denied access to the US, or for re-entry into Canada. If this happens, you will be responsible for your own transportation home.

To facilitate border crossing, please keep your identification on your person.
