Monday, September 4 to Saturday, September 9, 2017 - Blue Jays Road trip To Boston, Fenway Park and Cooperstown, New York
Tentative Itinerary:
Day 1: Mon., Sept. 4 - The tour will depart from Barrie, Bayfield Mall behind Canadian Tire Store at 7:30a.m. & the Tour Office at 8:00a.m. (Overnight parking is available at our Tour Office) A shuttle van will be picking up customers in Collingwood, Wasaga Beach & Elmvale (with a minimum of 6 passengers) upon request and transferred to meet the coach in Barrie.  A Canadian Passport will be required for the border crossing into the USA. We will allow time for duty free shopping. Today we travel to Albany, New York for our overnight stay at the Fairfield Inn.
Day 2: Tues., Sept. 5 - Today we are off to Boston, arriving in the early afternoon!  New England and Boston house some of the best names in New England Sports, home to the Red Sox, Boston Bruins, Boston Celtics and of course the New England Patriots. First stop a city tour on the Boston Duck Tours. The fun begins as soon as you board your “DUCK”, a W.W.II style amphibious landing vehicle.  Then you’re off on a journey like you’ve never had before. You’ll cruise by all the places that make Boston the birthplace of freedom and a city of firsts, from the golden-domed State House to Bunker Hill and the TD Banknorth Garden, Boston Common and Copley Square to the Big Dig, Government Center to fashionable Newbury Street, Quincy Market to the Prudential Tower, and more. And just when you think you’ve seen it all, there’s more. It’s time for “Splashdown” right into the Charles River for a breathtaking view of the Boston and Cambridge skylines, the kind of view you just won’t get anywhere else.  This afternoon we will check into the Holiday Inn for our 3 night stay in the City.   There will be free time to relax at the hotel prior to the game.  Early evening we head to Fenway and our reserved Pavilion Seats.  Sit back and get ready for the Toronto Blue Jays and Boston Red Sox to take center field. (Meals included Breakfast)
Day 3: Wed., Sept. 6 - Following breakfast we will head to Fenway Park for a guided behind the scenes look at this famous ball park.  See the home of Red Sox legends, Williams, Yaz, Fisk and Rice.  Visit Pesky’s Pole and sit atop the world famous Green Monster which stands 37 feet 2 inches high overlooking left field.  After our tour we head to the Harpoon Brewery and Beer Hall, located in Boston’s Seaport District, offers a full selection of Harpoon beers straight from the source along with delicious pretzels to pair with your pint. No visit to Boston would complete with experiencing Faneuil Hall and Quincy Marketplace, where we have scheduled free time and lunch on own.  Early evening we head to the Ball Field again for another Jays & Sox game.  (B)
Day 4: Thurs., Sept. 7 - This morning sleep in, use the pool, have time in the gym or have shopping time at Legacy Place, Dedham Mall or Dedham Plaza located within 2 miles of the hotel.  There is a shuttle service provided by the hotel from 7am – 10:30pm that will take you to area sights and shopping. This afternoon we head to Boston for a 1 ½ hour walking tour of the Freedom Trail with our costumed guides. Following our tour we head to “Cheers” where everyone knows your name and enjoy dinner together. (B & D)
Day 5: Fri., Sept. 8 - This morning, enjoy breakfast before we depart for the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY.  In the Museum's exhibits, you can learn about baseball history, see thousands of artifacts from the game's past, watch video, hear audio, see historic images, enjoy hands-on learning, delve deeper with computer interactive displays and test your baseball knowledge.
This evening we will check into Turning Stone Resort & Casino for our overnight stay. Try your luck at the Casino this evening as each person will receive a $40. Free Play coupon.  (B)
Day 6: Sat., Sept. 9 - A buffet breakfast will be served before departing for home. We will stop at the Duty Free shop before entering Canada. Our return to the Tour Office will be at approximately 6:00p.m. & Barrie at 6:30p.m. (B)
