Day 1: Wed., Dec. 6 - Overnight Flight
Day 2: Thurs., Dec. 7 - London, England - Tour Begins
Welcome to London at Christmastime, a metropolis filled with light, laughter and the excitement of the holiday season. Whether perusing the city’s many Christmas markets for handmade gifts and colourful decorations, or basking in the scent of mulled wine and cinnamon, this will surely be a Christmas you’ll never forget. Radisson Blu Edwardian Vanderbilt Hotel (or similar) will be our home for the next 5 nights. Unpack and relax. This evening, experience a favourite holiday pastime and join your fellow travellers for a special welcome dinner at a traditional pub.  (D)
Day 3: Fri., Dec. 8 - London
A local expert leads you on a panoramic tour of London. See Trafalgar Square, St. Paul’s Cathedral, the Tower of London and Buckingham Palace. At Westminster, view the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey and Big Ben. A Christmastime visit to London wouldn’t be complete without a stop at Harrods, the city’s famed department store. Find yourself exploring a wonderland of glorious holiday displays and its incredible food hall – a piece of gourmet heaven! This afternoon, perhaps you will join us on an optional excursion to celebrate the season at Windsor Castle: originally built to guard the city of London, Windsor Castle has been the home of Kings and Queens for nine centuries; make your way through the impressive Province Apartments, adorned for the season with a stunning array of garlands, bedecked Christmas trees, and an array of festive decorations. Day 4: Sat., Dec. 9 - London
Enjoy a leisurely morning before setting off to explore London’s charming Christmas markets. Peruse the sea of wooden chalets offering a plethora of unique handmade crafts, artisan goods and local treats. Continue on to Bond and Oxford streets, known worldwide for their elegant department stores, posh galleries and the season’s stunning Christmas decorations. Admire the latest fashions before capping off your afternoon with one of London’s finest theatre performances. (B)
Day 5: Sun., Dec. 10 - London - Oxford - Blenheim Palace - London
Today, travel across England’s beautiful countryside to the historic city of Oxford, home to the prestigious University of Oxford. Join a local expert on a privately guided walking tour before exploring the city’s Christmas market on historic Broad Street. As you browse the stalls filled with handmade crafts, the pleasant sounds of Christmas carols and smell of holiday treats fill the air and immerse you in holiday cheer. The festivities continue with a visit to Blenheim Palace, one of England’s most magnificent homes, that shines even brighter at Christmas. The birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill, this UNESCO World Heritage site will give you a glimpse into the life of English royalty. (B)
Day 6: Mon., Dec. 11 -London
Enjoy the day to explore London at your leisure. Perhaps you’ll take in the festivities and decorations on Oxford Street and Covent Garden. Tonight, enjoy a farewell dinner inspired by Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol and toast the end of a wonderful tour. (B & D)
Day 7: Tues., Dec. 12 - London - Tour Ends
Your tour comes to a close today, leaving you with many pleasant holiday memories. (B)

This tour requires that you need to be able to participate in physical activities such as longer walking tours, walking over uneven terrain, climbing stairs and periods of standing.
A valid Canadian Passport is required for this tour
