Join Susanne & Julie as we explore New Orleans prior to our
30th Anniversary Western Caribbean Cruise
Day 1: Thurs., Feb. 25 - The tour will depart from Orillia, Barrie & the Tour Of­fice for our morning flight from Pearson International. (Overnight parking is avail­able at our Tour Office.) Today we will fly to New Orleans, Louisiana and stay at the brand new AC Hotel by Marriott for 3 nights. A welcome dinner awaits our arrival. (D)
Day 2: Fri., Feb. 26 - Enjoy a leisurely walking tour of New Orleans’ famous French Quarter where you will see the majestic St. Louis Cathedral, one of the city’s most recognizable landmarks. Continue on to the bustling French Marketplace where you will explore Pirates Alley, the Cabildo, the Presbytere and the Pontalba. Stop to taste a true New Orleans favourite at Café Du Monde. This afternoon, roll up your sleeves and prepare to discover how to cook New Orleans-style! During a unique cooking demonstration at the New Orleans School of Cooking, your chef will indulge you in everything that Louisiana cuisine has to offer, followed by flavourful dining experience. Day 3: Sat., Feb. 27 - Enjoy a guided driving tour of New Orleans along historic Esplanade Avenue. See St. Louis Cemetery No.3, which opened in 1854 and fea­tures some of the most elaborate crypts found in New Orleans’cemeteries. Then, relax during a tranquil drive along the shoreline of Lake Ponchartrain. The remain­der of the day is free to explore. (B & L)
Day 4 to Day 10: Sun., Feb. 28 to Sat., March 5 - Cruising aboard the Norwegian Dawn. Ports include: Cozumel, Roatan Island, Harvest Caye & Costa Maya
Day 11: Sun., March 6 - Cruise ends. Return to New Orleans with transfer to the Airport for our flight to Pearson International Airport, Toronto. Our Hammond Coach will be there to pick us up and take us to our original departure points.
Tour includes: transfer to Pearson International Airport, return flights, departure taxes, motor coach transportation with Hamilton Tours Directors while in New Orleans, 3 nights’ accommodation, hotel taxes, baggage handling, New Orleans sightseeing and guided tours, 7 night cruise, port charges, 10 breakfasts, 6 lunches, 10 dinners & HST EXEMPT.
