Day 1: Mon., July 8 – The tour will depart fromBarrie, Bayfield Mall behind the Canadian Tire Store at 7:30a.m. and the Tour Office at 8:00a.m. (Overnight parking is available at our office) A valid Canadian passport is required for this tour. Today we travel to Syracuse, New York for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Tues., July 9 – Today enjoy a scenic drive as we travel to Stockbridge, Maine. Enjoy lunch at the historic Red Lion Inn. The Inn was originally a stagecoach stop and a pre-revolutionary meeting place. Spend some free time on the picturesque Main Street. Our afternoon destination is Loon Mountain in Lincoln, New Hampshire. This will be our home for the next 2 nights. (B & D)
Day 3: Wed., July 10 – This morning we ride the Gondola for a spectacular view of the White Mountains prior to departing for North Conway. There will be free time for lunch and to explore the Town. This year marks the 100thanniversary of the Cog Railway. In the afternoon, visit the Cog Railway Station and Visitors Centre prior to boarding the train for a 3 hour round trip ride to the summit of Mount Washington. Take some photos and time to walk the Summit of Mount Washington. Enjoy magnificent views and unique steam locomotives in action on some of the steepest railway tracks in existence. (B & D)
Day 4: Thurs., July 11 – Today we explore Vermont. Our visits include the Green Mountain Coffee Company where we will learn about the process from growing and roasting to cup. Enjoy a fun and informative tour at Ben & Jerrys Ice Cream and the Cold Hollow Cider Mill. This afternoon we will visit Trapp Family lodge. Enjoy a guided tour including an overview of the Von Trapp family history and then sit back and enjoy the scenery and savoury lunch. There will be time to explore the picturesque village of Stowe, with the most photographed Church Steeple in Vermont. In the afternoon we visit the Shelburne Winery for a Wine and Cheese reception. Our 2-night stay will be in Burlington. (B & L)
Day 5: Fri., July 12 –The highlights of today include a visit to Lake Champlain Chocolates, a luncheon cruise and a visit to the Vermont Teddy Bear Factory. An energetic team of Bear Ambassadors lead us on a tour through the Bears birthplace, as we learn how they are put together from start to finish. (B & D)
Day 6: Sat., July 13 – Following breakfast we depart for home, stopping at the duty free at the border. Return to Barrie at approximately 8:00p.m.(B)
Tour includes: motor coach transportation with Hamilton Tours Director, 5 nights hotel accommodation, hotel taxes, baggage handling for 1 large suitcase each, 5 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 2 dinners, attractions and guided tours as listed in the itinerary & HST EXEMPT.
A $300.00 deposit is required upon booking with the balance due in full by May 30, 2019
