Come an Experience a Food & Wine Tour of the Eastern Townships.

The Eastern Townships is a big collection of small cities, towns, and villages nestled in nature in south-eastern Quebec. Join us on a road trip as we meander the highways and byways, crisscrossing the region sampling culinary delights all located within the pristine villages and lakes.                    

Tentative Itinerary:
Day 1: Sat., Sept. 18 -The tour will depart from Barrie, Bayfield Mall behind the Canadian Tire at 8:00a.m. & the Tour Office at 8:30a.m. (Overnight parking is available at our Tour Office) Today we travel to Sherbrooke, Quebec for a 4-night stay at the Delta Sherbrooke. (D)
Day 2: Sun., Sept. 19 – Considered a jewel of the Eastern Townships, Lake Memphrémagog began as a mere canoe route through the region but by the 19th century was a popular vacation destination. This morning we cruise Lake Memphrémagog on the luxury Grand Cru yacht. Enjoy a Gondola ride to the top of Mount Orford and experience the Fall colours and breathtaking views. This afternoon , we will visit Cep d’Argent vineyard and experience their wine and bubbles tour. Enjoy this unparalleled Champagne experience in Quebec. There will be free time in Magog followed by dinner at a local restaurant. (B & D)
Day 3: Mon., Sept. 20 – Our day begins with a tour of the 18 Murals of Sherbrooke, depeciting the history of the region. Our morning also includes a visit to the History and Fine Arts Museum. Enjoy lunch on your own while you explore downtown Sherbrooke. We end our day with a group dinner and tour of Siboire, one of Quebec’s top microbreweries. (B & D)                                                                                                                      Day 4: Tues., Sept. 21– This morning we visit St. Benedict’s Abbey for a guided tour. Learn about daily life, admire the beautiful architecture and see how the monks support the needs of the community. Then it is on to Blu Lavande for a guided tour and workshop. This afternoon we experience La Station, a renowned cheese producer. Sample Hatley Road and Alfred Le Fermier which are rated among the best produced in the Eastern Townships in fact they are among the best of all of Canada! We conclude our afternoon with a visit to Gros Pierre Apple Producers and Domaine Ives Hill for guided tour and tastings. Tonight, enjoy a farewell group dinner in Sherbrooke. (B & D)                                    Day 5: Wed., Sept. 22 – Today we depart for home, stopping for meal breaks and a visit to the Jean Talon Market in Montreal enroute. (B)
