Wed., September 13, 2017 – PEI Salute to Music at the Walter’s Family Dinner Theatre
Direct From PEI!  Straight from the red soil of East Coast Canada, comes a step back in musical time to revisit the sounds of Canadian iconic fiddler Don Messer & his Islanders in this tribute show by Prince Edward Island musicians. The show honours the signature Messer style of fiddling as well as award-winning PEI step dancing and a variety of musical performances from all of the Islanders. A real down East kitchen party- PEI style! Join us for this celebration of lively fiddle, song, laughter and dance!

Scenic highlights include the 1,146 foot long railway trestle bridge spanning the Credit Valley, fall colours and the hills of the Headwaters region.

Sunday, September 24 - Royal Canadian Military Institute & Roy Thomson Hall present  “Massed Military Band Spectacular  UNCONQUERED”
A Military Band Tribute to the Invictus Games Toronto 2017
The Royal Canadian Military Institute, in conjunction with Roy Thomson Hall are delighted to present UNCONQUERED an afternoon of military band music in celebration of the Invictus Games Toronto 2017. This Massed Military Band spectacular, will feature the best military bands from across Canada. The Invictus Games are the only international adaptive sporting event for ill, wounded, and injured active duty and veteran service members and will be held in Toronto from September 23 – 30, 2017.
Includes:  bring a paper bag lunch to eat enroute to the performance at 2:00p.m. – orchestra level seating followed by a table service  dinner at the “HotHouse Restaurant”.   There will be a choice of 4 entrées.
