Monday, May 15 to Wednesday, May 17, 2017 - Ottawa - Our Nation’s Capital
Staying at the Fairmont Chateau in Montebello
Tentative Itinerary:
Day 1: Mon., May 15- The tour will depart from Barrie, Bayfield Mall behind Canadian Tire Store at 7:30a.m., Tour Office at 8:00a.m. & Newmarket, Ray Twinney Complex at 8:25a.m. (Overnight parking is available at our Tour Office).  Today we travel to Ottawa.  This afternoon we enjoy a visit to the Royal Canadian Mint.  We travel to Montebello for our two-night stay.  Enjoy the beautiful setting of this unique elegant log cabin. Tonight, a group dinner awaits us in the main dining room.   (D)
Day 2: Tues., May 16 - Every Spring, Ottawa is a splash of colour created by an array of tulips. Since WWII, The Dutch Royal Family continues to show their appreciation to Canada by sending tulips. This morning we enjoy a guided tour of Ottawa, including a visit to Dows Lake where many of the tulips are planted. In the afternoon, there is free time to enjoy the Byward Market or walk to the Parliament Buildings.   We enjoy a boat cruise which offers us opportunity to learn about the history of the Rideau Canal. Our last visit for today is a tour of the R.C.M.P. Stables to learn about the horses and riders that participate in the Musical Ride.  This evening enjoy a group dinner before our return to Montebello.  (B & D)
Day 3: Wed., May 17 - This morning there is an option to visit either the Canadian War Museum or the National Art Gallery which both have exhibits pertaining to Canada's 150th birthday. In the afternoon we depart for home, travelling through Algonquin Park. (B)
Tour includes: motor coach transportation with Hamilton Tours Direc­tor, 2 nights hotel & taxes, baggage handling, admissions & visits as outlined in the itinerary, 4 meals & HST.
Cost per person: Twin $799.00 & Single $999.00
A deposit of $300.00 is required at the time of booking, with the balance due in full one month prior to departure. 

Travel Insurance is available through our office at the time of booking at an additional charge.
