Newfoundland Highlights - 10 day tour
Tentative Itinerary:
Day 1: Fri., Sept. 15 – The tour will depart from Orillia, Barrie, Bayfield Mall behind Canadian Tire Store & the Tour Office.   A shuttle van will be picking up customers in Collingwood, Wasaga Beach & Elmvale (with a minimum of 6 passengers) upon request and transferred to meet the coach in Barrie.  (Overnight parking is available at our Tour Office)  We will travel by motor coach to Pearson International Airport. We will fly from Toronto to St. John’s. Newfoundland.   A Welcome Dinner awaits our arrival at the Capital Hotel.  (2 night stay) (Dinner)
Day 2: Sat., Sept. 16 - This morning we will have a guided city tour of St. John’s, which will include Signal Hill & Cape Spear National Historic Site, the most easterly point in North America. There will be an optional afternoon visit to the Provincial Museum -”The Rooms”.  This evening there is free time to experience “George Street” that is made up of only pubs and bars. You might wish to enjoy some local pub fare as well as some Newfoundland music and entertainment in downtown St. John’s.  (B)
Day 3: Sun., Sept. 17 - Today we leave the Avalon Peninsula and head north to explore the Bonavista Loop.  Points of interest will include Cape Bonavista Lighthouse & the Dungeon Provincial Park. We will overnight in Clarenville   (B & D)  
Day 4: Mon., Sept. 18 - Today is a travel day through Terra Nova National Park, Gander and arriving in Grand Falls/Windsor for our overnight stay. (B)
Day 5: Tues., Sept. 19 - Today may become your favourite day of the tour.  This morning we will depart for Gros Morne National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will marvel at the spectacular ocean scenery, mountains and fjords.  Our day will include: Rocky Harbour, Lobster Cove Lighthouse and Photographers Lookout. We will be staying at the Ocean View Hotel in Rocky Harbour for 2 nights. (B & D) 
Day 6: Wed., Sept. 20 - This morning is a free morning to relax. This afternoon you will experience the beauty of the fresh water Fjords of Western Brook Pond. (Weather permitting)   Please note that in order to reach the docks of the boat tour – we must walk (a fairly level) 3 km walk or approx. 45 minutes OR the Bonn Bay Boat tour which requires no walking. (B) 
Day 7: Thurs., Sept, 21 - This morning we continue our drive up the Northern Peninsula – known as the Viking Trail to St. Anthony. We will travel along some of the most spectacular coastline in North America.  A group lunch will be in Plum Point. This afternoon we will visit the Grenfell Centre which honours the famous medical missionary, Sir Wilfred Grenfell.  We will be staying at Hotel North in St. Anthony for our 2 night stay. (B & L)
Day 8: Fri., Sept. 22 - This morning we will experience a 2.5 hour award winning boat tour with Northland Discovery in hopes of iceberg sightings, whales and dolphins. It is a certified vessel with music, onboard biologist & washroom equipped. In afternoon we will visit L’Anse aux Meadows Interpretative Centre. Here is the only known Viking Site in North America and the earliest evidence of Europeans in the western hemisphere. (B & D)
Day 9: Sat., Sept. 23 - Today we will drive south along the Viking Trail stopping at the Arches, a natural phe­nomenon carved over many centuries by the sea. We will overnight in Cow Head at the Shallow Bay Motel. (B & D)
Day 10: Sun., Sept. 24 - All good things must come to an end. Today we will fly to Pearson International Airport on our afternoon flight from Deer Lake.  Our motor coach will be waiting in Toronto to meet us and return us to our original departure points (B)
Tour includes: transfer to Pearson International Airport in Toronto by motor coach, return flights, departure taxes, airport baggage fees round trip, motor coach transportation with Hamilton Tours Direc­tor, 9 nights’ accommodation, hotel taxes, baggage handling for 1 large suitcase each, 9 breakfasts, 1 lunch, 5 dinners, National Park pass, 3 boat cruises, Pub Night Entertainment in Rocky Harbour, attractions, museum visits and guided tours as listed in the itinerary & HST of 15% in NL.
Cost per person: Twin $3860.00 & Single $4470.00
An initial deposit of $600 is required upon booking. 
A 2nd deposit of $2000.00 is due on March 1 with the balance due in full by August 1, 2017
