Tuesday, August 16 to Thursday, August 18, 2016 - Ottawa - Our Nation’s Capital
Tentative Itinerary:
Day 1: Tues., Aug 16- The tour will depart from Barrie, Bayfield Mall behind Canadian Tire at 7:30a.m., Tour Office at 8:00a.m. & Newmarket, Ray Twinney Complex at 8:25a.m. (Overnight parking is available at our Tour Office).  While in Ottawa we will be staying at the centrally located Hotel Indigo. This afternoon we visit the Canadian Museum of History.  Following our group dinner we will take a short walk to the Parliament Buildings and view the sight and sound light show- Northern Lights. This all-new experience of sound and light is a thrilling thematic journey through Canada’s history. Combining bold digital technology with the architectural splendour of the Parliament Buildings, the show illuminates Canadian stories of nation-building, partnership, pride and vision at the heart of our country.  (D)
Day 2: Wed., Aug 17- This morning at ten o’clock view the Changing of the Guard on the Hill. Watch the Guards as they march up Elgin Street or view the ceremony on Parliament Hill.  This afternoon we tour the city with a local guide, followed by a visit to the Canadian War Museum. In the evening we travel to Chateau Montebello and experience dinner the largest log cabin in the world. (B & D)
Day 3: Thurs., Aug 18 - This morning we visit the R.C.M.P. Stables, home to the horses of the Musical Ride followed by free time to visit the Byward Market. After lunch enjoy a boat cruise on the Rideau Canal giving us a scenic view of the Capital from a different perspective.  We will return home in the early evening.  (B)
Tour includes: motor coach transportation with Hamilton Tours Direc­tor, 2 nights hotel & taxes, baggage handling, boat cruise, admissions & visits as outlined in the itinerary, 2 breakfasts, 2 dinners & HST.
Cost per person: Twin $769.00  & Single $929.00
A deposit of $250.00 is required at the time of booking, with the balance due in full one month prior to departure. 
Travel Insurance is available through our office at the time of booking at an additional charge.
